I am pleased to share the Contra Costa Child Care Council’s Annual Report for 2012-2013. I am excited to serve as the new executive director of this long-standing
nonprofit organization that has been improving the lives of children, families and communities since 1976.
I want to recognize the tremendous impact that my predecessor, Catherine Ertz-Berger, had on this organization and neighborhoods throughout Contra Costa County. She touched many lives through her dedication to the quality care and early education of young children, including the most vulnerable children in our community who needed our voice and support. Thank you, Kate. We wish you well!
We will continue to deliver exceptional services and early childhood education expertise to parents, child care providers, businesses and communities in the year ahead. I am enthusiastic about the future and look forward to partnering with you to benefit our children and families.
